Carrier Service is a Shopify requirement
Shopify Carrier Service controls whether an app can return calculated rates to checkout. Delivery customizations do not need it. Shipping rates and combined rates do.
What is not included
- SMART does not provide live third-party carrier rate shopping.
- SMART does not pack items into a shipping carton. Cart volume combines each item's dimensions × quantity.
- SMART cannot rename dynamic carrier rates that include the carrier name.
- SMART cannot bypass Shopify's 25 active delivery customization limit.
- Checkout simulator does not apply delivery customizations.
